Read the Terms
As bonus points are offered as a promotion, there are usually a set of terms and conditions around the offer. It is important to read the terms of an offer carefully. Things to look out for include

- Whether the bonus is on any particular value. For example, the promotion might apply to $100 gift cards but not $50 gift cards.
